1. What is the most important concept you learned this semester? Explain the concept briefly and discuss why it is important.
For me it was how to be a leader with out being a political leader, or a world leader or anyone big and important. I can still be a leader in this world by just being me and showing what I know.
2. From all the new knowledge you gained in this class, choose 2 facts or ideas that make the biggest impression on you. Explain.
The idea in the begining of the course that there is always a bigger picture out there. That one thing can lead to antother and from that to another. Also the idea of the web. I really gained a new appreciation for it with this class in exploring diffrent ideas and ways the internet can both be good and bad.
3. What 3 skills will you take from this class, and how will you use them in the future?
How to better search google using key words.
How to use cool internet sources like diigo to keep track of my internet sources.
How to post important works on the internet and in spaces such as slideshare.
4. Look at the 4 global competencies (objectives) for the course. Which objective do you feel you developed to the greatest degree?
What did you learn about that objective, how did you learn it, and why does it matter in the world?
I feel I grew more in the first one, about learning globaly and gaining international knowledge. I learned that things are diffrent in a global perspective, that more things are specific and while the information might be dry its because its accurate comming form the source instead of just learning from a western point of veiw. I learned it mostly through books however the internet backed up the idea that global information is best obtained from the source of what your trying to learn about. It matters cause instead of trying to learn about a diffrent coutry from your countries perspective you can learn about it from how it really is.
5. What does it mean to be a global leader in the 21st century?
To be diplomatic and fair in evaluation of others and cultures. To lead by example because actions speak louder than words, even on the internet.
